About the Conference

 

The IsraHCI Research Conference brings together researchers and practitioners interested in the researching new interaction methods and new user experiences in interactive systems. At its eighth year, the conference is becoming the premier Israeli forum to present, discuss and experience novel interactive systems from a research-oriented perspective. We invite those interested in HCI – from industry and academia, from design, engineering, computer science, psychology, education and the UX community - to take part in this exciting event and contribute to the growth of the Israeli HCI research community.

 

The objectives of the Israeli HCI Research Conference are to:

• Create a bridge between academic research in HCI and those developing innovative interactive technologies in the Israeli industry

• Contribute to the growth of Israeli research in human-computer interaction 

• Establish an inclusive community of Israeli researchers, allowing students to present work and enter the research area

• Foster interdisciplinary collaborations

 

The conference include several sessions, each dedicated to highlighting research on different aspects of human-computer interaction, UI/UX, HRI and related areas.
